This is a maths tool, not veterinary advice. There is no single official angle that suits every dog, and the 15-25 degree range is a rule of thumb often quoted by ramp sellers. Smaller, older or less steady dogs may need something gentler. If your dog is recovering from surgery or has a mobility condition, ask your vet before using a ramp.
