We started this because our own dog stopped jumping onto the sofa.
It happened gradually enough that we almost didn't notice — a pause before the jump, then a run-up, then one evening she just sat at the bottom looking up at the sofa. She was twelve. Nothing was "wrong" enough for the vet to do much beyond the usual advice: keep her comfortable, watch her weight, manage the stiffness.
What we couldn't find easily was a shop that understood the actual, specific problem — not "dog beds" as a category, but a proper, honest answer to "how do I help my dog keep doing the things she loves without it hurting." So we started building one.
We're a small, UK-based team. We write our guides ourselves rather than buying in generic content, and we choose every product against one question — does it solve a specific, real mobility problem better than the alternatives — rather than adding it just to fill out a catalogue.

Built to grow slowly, on purpose
We started with the products that made the biggest difference for the least fuss — steps, a properly supportive bed, a ramp, and honest joint supplements. As we grow, we're working on our own supplement formulation and expanding into support for senior cats. What won't change is the bar every new product has to clear: would we actually recommend this to a friend whose dog is struggling?
